Q: What do I need to provide?

A: A stage; a sound system (including a microphone, and a straight microphone stand - please no podiums!); and an audience. Comedy shows are very basic to produce and therefore cost effective. If you have any concerns, please contact us via email.


Q: What if I don't have an adequate sound system?

A: We do have sound systems which we can rent to you for a very reasonable fee. This, however, depends on the logistics of travel since the act needs to bring it with them. As an option, you can rent a sound system from your local music store in most cases. We can also recommend quality systems for purchase starting at about $500.


Q: How long does the show last?

A: Our standard show guidelines are as follows: A one man show runs approximately 45 minutes. A standard two person show will run about 75 minutes, while a premium three person show will run 90 minutes.


Q: What time should I start the show?

A: You determine the start time. We recommend an hour of "eating time" prior to the show (assuming you are presenting a dinner show). If there are a lot of windows in the room that cannot be closed off, we recommend a start time after it gets dark outside.


Q: Can we have the show during dinner?

A: Generally we do not recommend having the performance and the meal simultaneously. People tend to carry on conversations during dinner, and it is also very hard for them to laugh while eating. The show should begin after all dinner plates have been cleared and dessert and coffee have been served.


Q: How much should I charge my members?

A: In our experience, a door price (including buffet & show) of $25 - $40 per person should be the target price. Some clubs have done shows for as little as $20 or as much as $50. We feel that a dinner and show for $30 is a very good value for your members.


Q: If I book more than one show can I get a discount?

A: We offer multi-show discounts with savings as much as 20% depending on the quantity of shows booked.


Q: If I do a show with another club can I get a discounted rate?

A: Yes, we give a discount of 10% to EACH club if you book two shows on consecutive dates - e.g. Friday & Saturday. These clubs must be within a four-hour drive in order to receive this discount.


Q: What is the rating of the show?

A: We will work with you to determine your exact needs. None of our acts are X-rated, but most can a bit more risqué without crossing the line. Unless otherwise specified we book it as a PG-13 corporate clean style show.


Q: Can children attend the show?

A: While our acts do perform clean, we bill the shows as an adult event and therefore we do not recommend having children at the shows. We do have some entertainers that perform family friendly shows - please call us prior to booking a date as this type of event requires specialist performers.


Q: What if I want to do 2 shows on the same night?

A: There is a second show option available to you which we offer at at a significantly discounted rate. Some clubs have offered their members a "Late Night Adult Show" which is a little shorter than the earlier show but more risqué.


Q: Can you book other types of entertainment?

A: Yes. If it involves humor, we can book it. From hypnotists, jugglers, and magicians, to musical comedy acts, and game shows. We are a leading suppler of variety entertainment in the industry
